QQI are the awarding body for all NCI Programmes, and they issue parchments for all graduands. It is a very important document that is only produced once and if it is lost or misplaced it may not be possible to get a duplicate.
Please note if you have opted to exit with the postgraduate award your parchment may not be available at graduation. Please refer to this article for more information.
When do I get my parchment?
At the time of the graduation ceremony:
- Graduands who complete their programme in February will be invited to the graduation ceremony in Spring
- Graduands who complete their programme in June and Sept/October will be invited to the graduation ceremony in November

Q.: I'm living in Ireland and don’t want to/wasn't able to attend graduation?
A.: The exams team will contact you to arrange parchment collection on set dates or postal delivery to an address in Ireland. Ensure your Home & Mailing Address on 'mydetails login' is up to date and the same.
Q.: I'm not living in Ireland anymore – can the Parchment be posted outside Ireland?
A.: Parchments can only be sent by courier to addresses outside the Republic of Ireland for a €150 fee. To arrange this, follow these steps by 31 October for November Graduation or 28 February for Spring Graduation:
❑ Update your Home & Mailing Address on ‘mydetails login’
❑ Make the payment of €150 to the NCI International Bank account.
❑ Complete the Courier Request Form and submit it to International Support via the NCI Support Hub
❑If paying by bank transfer, please send the payment receipt (TT Receipt/MT103 Receipt) with the completed Courier Form.
❑ International Support will arrange for Parchments to be sent by courier
Q.: What if I my parchment is lost or not received in the post?
A.: If you don't receive your parchment, follow up with the Exams team. For lost parchments, you can order a replacement from QQI for a fee. See the QQI website for details.
